nathan rein thinks this book is Nothing Special.

One of the more intelligent current books justifying an evangelical perspective on Christianity. I actually found it pretty interesting, though I am approaching it from a skeptical perspective and was far from being convinced. Strobel actually tackles more tough issues than most similar writers. However, ultimately he has very few answers that most people haven't heard before. The argument always comes back in the end to a sense of deep personal conviction and inner transformation. That's great, of course, but it doesn't do much for the person who hasn't experienced such a thing.
