tingilya thinks this book is Excellent.
This is probably one of the best books I've ever read. It's the not-too-distant future and women are no longer able to have babies. The story is about what happens to society as it faces its inevitable end. The characters of Theo, Xan, Julian, Rolf, Miriam, Luke and Gascoigne are all so real that you believe their struggles completely. The movie has radically changed the story to the point that it's nearly unrecognizable as the same story, save for a few character names. Read the book instead of seeing the movie. The book is the story P.D. James told. Nothing else will come close.
Fayelle thinks this book is Nothing Special.
