Daniel Simon is the founder and publisher of Seven Stories Press and served as editor on two previous books by Kurt Vonnegut, God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian and, with Lee Stringer, Like Shaking Hands God. This was my first Kurt Vonnegut book. It was an easy read, not only because the book is just 145 pages long, but because it isn't really a story so much as a bunch of quotes. It was like one of those hallmark books you buy for Mother's Day or something, except the quotes are slightly more meaningful. All in all, I think Vonnegut had a lot of interesting things to say, but I'm looking forward to reading an actual story from him.
