Carrie - Rated Good

I really liked this book. It was fast paced, interesting, and a very good reminder of where Stephen King came from. His personal writing style is very evident in this book (although perhaps it is a bit shortened as compared to his more recent books). Carrie is a character that is very easy to sympathize with, even if you can't empathize. Still, I think that most of us out there will be able to empathize with the pre-maniacal Carrie by thinking back to the days before kids and steady work. The read was fast and furious, and did nothing but make me hungry for more of the same.
