Chain Reading

The reason I read Valiant is because I was using it as my lit circle book but I am very glad that I picked this book to read because the story kept me on the edge of my seat just dying to know what happened.

"A Modern Tale of Faerie" That is exactly what this book is. This book tells a story of a magical world that you do not see every day but instead of being told in an older setting like most books, Valiant is told in a modern day setting. If I say more than that I believe I will give too much away because that is pretty explanatory it self. What I will tell you is that you will never be bored with this book if you are interested in magic and faeries.

The title "Valiant" is a very interesting one and I figured out why the book is titled as it is. I will not give that away but it is very interesting since it is only mentioned once and very hard to catch but I think Holly Black did a magnificent job of pulling that out of the story and titling the book that. I give her a lot of credit there.
