Specials - Rated Excellent

Specials, by Scott Westerfeld is a wonderful book. I loved how the entire series takes place in the future and has all these special gadget type of things. I also liked how the reason there were all of the security and limitations and rules was because of what this century’s people did along with the wars and stuff. In the first book Uglies the world seams perfect to Tally. You can never get hurt don’t have to study and when you are a teen you get to move into a dorm away from your parents. But most important of all when you turn sixteen you get this operation that makes you pretty. In the second book Pretties she got the operation and are living in New Pretty Town. Now in the third book Specials Tally was forced to become a special and to go out to capture her friends in the New Smoke. With all the twist and turns you will fall in love with this book and get captured into the story. This trilogy is exciting with action and romance and the futuristic tale. There is also a new book Extras, but with a new twist on the plot line.
