A Thread of Grace - Rated Excellent
Wonderful character development and story-telling. I loved every page and nursed the end as long as I could before forcing myself to end it. The book captures events during WWII from several perspectives, focused in the hills of Italy. No fluff, not a feel-good book; but a very real, very moving novel from a wonderful writer.
