Mercury - Rated Excellent

This the first book I've read by Cary Holladay after attending a writing workshop of hers, and I loved it! Her character development and unusual plot are just great. It is titled Mercury because three teens are playing around in a deserted warehouse and find a vat of mercury. It is so irridescent and pretty, they decide to rub it on their arms and even smoke on their cigarettes. One of the teens died after doing that only a few weeks later, and another teenaged girl is trying to survive playing with the mercury but it has great effected her. I highly recommend this book, and if you like it you should read more of Holladay's books and stories.
